The Thing about Superheroes



Superheroes don’t always wear capes.


Sometimes they are disguised as ordinary everyday individuals.


Sometimes they don’t get super-human powers…


They get super kids.


And being a superhero to a little boy is way better than any cape.


This superhero may not be as fast as a speeding bullet…


But he’ll be there in a flash whenever he’s needed.


He may not be as strong as a locomotive…


But he’ll provide a lifetime of strength and support.


And he may not have a super name…


We just call him Daddy.

    Oh you guys are too cute! We love to hold our 2yo Rhys up and call him SuperBaby! But yes, a SuperDad is just as cute. And necessary!

    This totally made me tear up!! I love that they make this baby superhero costume and I am SO getting one if I ever have a little one. Mac has so much personality, and this post is the sweetest ever. I kept it unread in my Google Reader so I could read it like three times.
