- That asshole Easter bunny brought Mac the stomach flu
- We did 183 loads of laundry this weekend because of said stomach flu
- The dogs acted like complete hooligans because they were cooped up all weekend (Sage ate a board book and half of Old MacDonald’s farm animals, while Mally set a world record for most obnoxious and continuous barking)
- The cat hates us all and escaped three times on Saturday
- The dogs wouldn't smile (or even open their eyes) for Easter photos without cheese, which we didn’t have
- The only thing that would make Mac happy was singing “The Wheels on the Bus” over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over
- Grocery stores were closed yesterday so we couldn't buy vodka
- Florida lost, so my bracket is screwed (which means I’m on diaper changing duty for the next two weeks)
- I’m pretty sure I've got baby poop on me somewhere today because I can smell it
- Hope you had a better Easter than we did (we’re having rabbit stew for dinner tonight)

SOUNDS LIKE OURS! The hubby and I were both sick - and still are. Luckily our little guy has missed it. But we stayed inside and tried to keep the lysol wipes handy to help disinfect our plague-filled home!
ReplyDeleteOh no!! Poor things. That is rough. If it makes you feel any better, my little nugget has decided to hit everyone. All the time. It is driving me insane. xxoo, I am off to find some 1/2 price Easter candy to console myself.
ReplyDeleteoh girl! sounds like a really rough Easter! Thankfully we have avoided the stomach bugs, in our house...of course I hate to even type that out for fear of jinxing us!
ReplyDeleteHope this week is better for you...have a drink (or 5) and eat some leftover candy, maybe that will make you feel better!
Oh dear. Poor Mac, the little guy has had it pretty rough lately...so have you two from the sounds of it! I really hope you find some relief soon.
ReplyDeleteGetting baby poo on me and not knowing it makes me nervous. Knock on wood, it hasn't happened yet.
Oh NOOOOOOOO. That does NOT sound like a good weekend. Here's hoping this week is better!
ReplyDeleteOh good grief -- you didn't catch a break at all!!! You definitely need a break and a drink. P.S. -- I laughed so hard at this post I almost peed myself.
ReplyDeleteBAHAHAHAHA! THE DOGS how did you get everyone so squint their eyessss :) (obv you didnt) but I was peeing through this whole post
ReplyDeleteoh nooooooo!!!!
ReplyDeletePS- I like your new pic on the side.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry that this post made me laugh. Let's both hope this week is better for us! Ugh.
ReplyDeleteOh man! What a weekend! Hope you get to enjoy some vodka with the stew tonight! But Mac is still so cute in his ears!
ReplyDeleteRabbit stew sounds good at least!
ReplyDeleteStomach bugs aren't fun no matter how old you are.
Oh friend. I'm sorry. What a shitty weekend. I hope good health and vodka arrive in your house immediately!
ReplyDeleteOh no!!! What a weekend...there must have been something in the air because our's was quite different than planned, too!! Cameron was a MAGNET for disaster...head bumps, bloody noses and a huge gash on his forehead.
ReplyDeleteOh gosh what a disaster! Somehow baby boy still looks cute crying and sick. That picture is hilarious. Love it.
ReplyDeleteHahahha. I'M SORRY. I'm allowed to laugh right? your post is HILARIOUS. I'm sorry that you guys had a tough time. I hope the baby feels better soon! The good thing is, it's sunday -- the liquor store is NOW open.

BAHAHAHA! I'm dying.
ReplyDeleteYour dogs crack me up. Actually, everything about that photo is cracking me up.
Wasn't at least a 7 Eleven open to score some booze?!
But really, I'm sorry your Easter didn't go over so well this year.
You poor thing! That sounds like an awful first Easter, but that picture sure explains it all, kinda hilarious! Hope you got some vodka or wine for tonight..cheers my friend!
ReplyDeleteAsshole Easter bunny. But, it's no surprise, we know how Ryan feels about bunnies. Mally's face just kills me, I mean, she looks tortured.
ReplyDeleteAnd, hi, we need to discuss that hot picture of you up there on the right hand corner? I can't be friends with someone as goddamn gorgeous as you! And I will be borrowing that necklace, yes? Also, HOLY CRAP I GET TO SEE YOU IN 18 DAYS 18 DAYS!!!!
Aww, I'm so sorry poor Mac had the flu. I hope everyone is feeling better today.
ReplyDeleteOh goodness! That doesn't sound like a very fun Easter. I'm sorry! But man, those pictures are going to be so funny to you in a few weeks!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I'm so sorry, but that picture cracks me up! Totally been there with the wheels on the bus. Even now, singing wheels on the bus in the car over and over is the only way for my daughter to not cry the whole time. We get very creative with the verses (it is a VERY full bus).
ReplyDeleteLOL Oh nooooo! Your Easter bunny sucks. That does not sound like a fun Easter at all- I think you all need a re-do- maybe you can go back to last Friday and start over
ReplyDeleteOh.my.God! This photo is CLASSIC!!!
ReplyDeleteFreaking Easter bunny with the damn flu. UGH! That picture is TOO much. You know I'll torture Rookie in the same way. We're kindred spirits!
ReplyDeleteawful things happen, but that picture is cute

You need to build up your vodka stash for times like these! Adorable photo still and I hope all the sickness is gone soon.
ReplyDeleteHope that you are all on the mend, and that you have replenished your vodka stash! There is a pet photo contest in Garden & Gun magazine right now...your Easter photo could definitely be a winner. Hilarious!
ReplyDeleteI hope Mac is feeling better. :(
ReplyDeleteSave me some rabbit stew?
