Sad Cardinal

It's a sad day in Cardinal nation. 
Mim really wanted to go to a World Series game before she turned 4 months old.  
She's been waiting her whole life for this.  
Her dreams are crushed.

    Awww...love cute sad faces! At least her team has a shot. We are Cubs fans in this house...so we're even past sad faces at this point!

    This is amazing. I can't even handle it. Those poor Redbirds, we were really hoping to have a trip to the World Series in our plans for next week as well!

    It's so sad. She really needed a World Series this year. Todd Thomas posted some really great notes on his FB about his thoughts on it and I very much agreed this just wasn't the year. I really wanted to see an I-70 series. I'm cheering for the Royals which I said I'd do at the beginning if the Cardinals didn't make it.

    Oh my gosh, I seriously feel bad laughing, but this is so cute and funny! Her facial expression and outfit are SPOT ON. And when you say "she's been waiting her whole life for this" and really wanted to go to a world series game before she was 4 months old and her dreams are crushed is just too funny.
    So sorry for your Cardinals! I feel your pain... the Angels just crushed our dreams a few short weeks ago :(
