Hello friends! And welcome to today's installment of:
"WHO WANTS TO BE A STITCH FIX 500-DOLLAR-AIRE?!"
I'm Sara and I'll be your host as I guide you through this almost-too-good-to-be-true alternate universe where highly fashionable people do all your personal shopping for you and send beautiful garments and accessories right to your doorstep! It's like being a celebrity without all the fame and fortune (womp womp).
What is Stitch Fix?
If, for some reason (maybe you've been in a coma for a few years or in law school and have yet to emerge from the fog) you've never heard of Stitch Fix, here's the lowdown. Basically, Stitch Fix is a personal shopping/styling service where you fill out a personalized style profile by answering questions about your likes/dislikes, style, color preference, sizing, price points, etc. You are matched with a stylist who bases her/his choices on your profile; however, you can also write a note about what you're interested in, as well as link to your Pinterest style board or blog to give your stylist additional guidance, if you so choose. You receive a box with 5 items (clothing, jewelry, accessories, shoes, etc.), which includes a style card for each piece that shows you different ways to wear your items. You get to try the clothes on in the comfort of your own home and decide what you want to keep or send back. You have 3 days to send back anything you don't want in a prepaid pre-labeled envelope (included in your box), so it's super easy. For each box you receive, there's a $20 styling fee, which is deducted from the price of anything you choose to keep. If you send back all the items, you lose the $20. But if you keep all 5 items you get a 25% discount on your entire purchase.
