Last Day of Preschool

Today is Mac's last day of preschool and my heart is breaking a little bit just thinking about how much he's grown and changed over the last 9 months. He started school a bit shy and reserved about the teachers and other kids and now he feels right at home in his classroom and seems to rule the roost on the school playground. He has made wonderful little friends at school whom he loves dearly and he's told me a number of times how hard it's going to be to say goodbye. He'll be going back to the same preschool next year (5 half days a week), as will most of his little friends, and I'm so glad we've found a school that we really love that's safe and familiar to him as he prepares for kindergarten.  
 And because I just can't resist a good comparison photo...
Obviously his love for the camera has grown just as much as he has.

    Lol! I am glad to know I am not the only one that has kiddos that hate having their photos taken. These are just precious though. Wow, he has really grown and your daughter... has REALLY grown! Amazing! I should do a last day photo, I just do the first day usually.

    I know the post is about Mac, but Mim is just too cute making the same faces too! Glad to hear he'll still get the same friends next year too!

    He's grown too, wow! I never notice how much Sophie grows until someone points it out or I realize her favorite clothes have "shrunk" AKA she's gotten taller.

    I think Mim especially has grown so much! She is almost at the dark brick whereas before she was still 2.5 bricks away!

    Bahahaha I'm laughing so hard at these pictures!! What a funny dude! And I can't believe how much Mim has grown!! She went from a baby to a true toddler! Congrats on a successful year, Mac (and Mama)!

    They grow up way too fast. Mim especially has grown a lot!! Jackson's last day of Preschool was this past Tuesday. He's going to a different pre-school in the Fall. One closer to our new house. I'm excited for the change but we'll miss his old school and his little friends. :-(

    I love his expressions :) I can't believe how old he's getting. So glad that he loves it- I don't even want to think about school yet!
